Hi! My name is Mrs. Hillary Sasiadek. I have been teaching at Our Lady of Victory School since 2012. I have my master's degree in Early Childhood Education from The College of New Rochelle and Concordia College. In my spare time, I love to bake, travel, and spend time with family and friends. This will be my second year teaching grade 2 and I couldn't be more excited. I am looking forward to teaching your child and watching them explore, learn new things, and grow each day!

Welcome to 2nd Grade!

In 2nd grade, students learn Religion, ELA, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies:
Religion: Sadlier Christ in Us Curriculum focuses on the seven sacraments, the celebration of Mass, the Ten Commandments, and Holy Days. 
ELA: MyView/ Engage NY Curriculum focuses on foundation skills, reading and writing workshops, spelling and language/conventions.
Mathematics: Eureka Math Curriculum focuses on place value and addition/subtraction within 1,000, measurement, word problems, foundations of multiplication/division, money, graphing, time, shapes, and fractions.
Science: Discovery Education focuses on the structure/properties of matter, relationships in ecosystems, and processes that shape the Earth.
Social Studies: My World Curriculum focuses on citizenship, communities, geography, and holidays.
